RE: Six Months Until Election Day: Republicans Are Winning

With six months until Election Day, Republicans have the money, the message, and the momentum. House Republicans are united by President Trump’s leadership, battle-tested, and rapidly building the financial and political strength needed to defend our majority and take the fight directly to Democrats’ extreme agenda.

[…]

Fundraising Advantage:

The NRCC outraised the DCCC in Q1 and maintains a cash-on-hand advantage, another dominant showing that builds on the strongest start to a cycle in over a decade. After breaking a 10-year record last year by outraising the DCCC, Republicans are extending that advantage in 2026 with $78.2 million on hand after the first quarter, ahead of the $55.9 million at this point in 2024 and the DCCC’s $69.9 million on hand.

The fundraising success goes beyond the NRCC, reflecting a fully aligned operation led by President Trump and House Republican leadership as well as outside partners. Between the NRCC’s financial advantage, President Trump’s MAGA Inc. having $347 million on hand, CLF’s $91.4 million on hand, and the RNC’s $116 million on hand, Republicans are in a strong financial position with six months until election day.

Strong Incumbents with the Resources to Win:

Republican candidates are building large war chests and are well-equipped for battle heading into November’s election, while Democrats increasingly fall behind. The House Republican leadership team has been an invaluable asset to Republican candidates, helping drive dollars into these campaigns, increasing visibility for key races, and ensuring voters will read, see, and hear our message.

Candidates That Fit Their Districts and Will Take The Fight to Democrats:

The first 17 candidates in our MAGA Majority program prove we are investing in America First candidates by equipping them with the early support, strategic resources, and visibility needed to win against their out of touch Democrat opponents.

Each of these candidates has been rigorously vetted, battle-tested, and earned the endorsements of President Trump and Speaker Johnson, underscoring a unified Republican team aligned from the top down. This isn’t just symbolic; it reflects a coordinated strategy among President Trump and his team and House Republicans to recruit candidates who fit their districts and can win tough races.

[…]

The Political Environment:

The broader political environment reinforces a clear trend: voters are increasingly breaking toward Republicans. NRCC internal polling in competitive battleground districts conducted in April found the generic ballot at +2%, and the named ballot showed Republican members and challengers leading by an average of 3%.

Democrats remain directionless and unpopular. Most voters say the party is simply opposing President Trump without offering a real alternative or solutions, including half of swing voters. Additionally, Democrat popularity continues to plummet in poll after poll, with a recent CNN poll showing only 28% of voters view Democrats favorably. Since early 2025, Democrats have seen a sharp decline in popularity among their own voters, hitting historic lows in approval ratings each month.

[…]

The Battlefield:

Fast forward to 2025, a dozen Democrats represented districts that had been won by President Trump. Following redistricting in many states, the number of incumbents representing seats won by the opposing party’s Presidential candidate is nearly even, showcasing the strong position House Republicans are in with just six months until Election Day.

[…]

Democrats Fight Through Messy Primaries:

In a sign of their growing panic, the DCCC has begun endorsing candidates in competitive primaries, hoping to drag their floundering favorites into November. But the other candidates and their allies in these primaries are not backing down and have instead called out the DCCC for engaging in these primary contests.

[…]

Delivering Wins for Working Families:

According to NRCC internal polling, when voters hear that Republicans supported the “largest middle-class tax cut in generations,” 64% say they are more likely to support that candidate. Another 64% say they are much more likely to back a candidate who “cut taxes for households making less than $100,000,” and 60% are more likely to support a candidate who backs “cutting taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security.”

[…]

Republicans enter the final six months of the cycle with the advantage, financially, politically, and structurally. Democrats are divided, on defense, and struggling to define a message, while Republicans are united, well-funded, and executing a clear strategy to win in November. We have the candidates, the resources, and the battlefield to hold the majority, and the contrast is only getting sharper by the day.
