Janelle Stelson is a Coward

May 14, 2026

In case you missed it, retread loser Janelle Stelson is being brutally called out by her primary opponent Justin Douglas for hiding from voters. Douglas correctly chided Stelson for being DC Democrats’ chosen candidate with no organic support:

Douglas has criticized what he claims is the hand-selected nature of Stelson’s candidacy, noting national Democratic leaders encouraged her to launch another campaign shortly after her 2024 loss.

“Hakeem Jeffries called her two weeks after she lost and told her to run again, and she started lining up endorsements,” Douglas said. “Many of them were public before I even got into the race.”

He also refused to commit to endorsing Stelson because she’s too much of a coward to face voters:

Douglas has also criticized Stelson for declining some forums and debates during the campaign and repeated his stance of not committing to endorsing her in the general election if she wins the nomination.

“It’s a lot harder for me to just auto-apply my endorsement to somebody,” Douglas said. “I need to see how she’s going to show up and connect with voters that my endorsement is going to be expected to bring them out.

With minimal grassroots support and a stale message, could Stelson be another DCCC-coronated candidate in trouble in Pennsylvania?

“Retread loser Janelle Stelson is a coward who’s afraid to face voters because she knows her high-tax, open borders agenda is indefensible. Stelson’s campaign is entirely propped up by DC Democrats and quickly losing momentum.” – NRCC Spokesman Reilly Richardson
