NEW DATA: Republicans Gain Ground Across Iowa

June 9, 2026

A new voter registration analysis shows Republicans rapidly gaining ground in Iowa while Democrats continue losing support.

Since the 2018 election, Republicans have gained 67,337 voters while Democrats have lost 57,766 voters across 3 battleground congressional districts in Iowa, amounting to a major shift toward the GOP.

“Republicans are steadily gaining ground across Iowa while Democrats are running on empty. Voters trust Republicans to lower costs, secure the border, protect taxpayers, and restore common sense while Democrats continue offering the same failed agenda that’s pushing voters away.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Emily Tuttle
