CAUGHT: Lazy Lil’ Jared Moskowitz Took Credit for Funding He Tried to Block.

Lazy lil’ Jared Moskowitz, who has never so much as passed a bill since coming to Congress, was caught taking a victory lap on critical funding that he tried to block.

Moskowitz had the audacity to do a photo-op with a fake check and brag about $2M in federal funding that he admitted was critical for first responders… even though he voted AGAINST the bill that delivered the funding.

Just last week, Moskowitz posed with a large ceremonial check touting the funding for the Jeffrey Street Rail Crossing project in his district. The congressman has publicly acknowledged the project’s importance, stating it would provide “faster routes for our first responders” and ensure the community is “no longer cut off from itself.”

Yet records show Moskowitz voted against the funding. Critics say his opposition stemmed from his support for prioritizing federal immigration enforcement funding cuts over delivering for his constituents.

“Least Effective Florida Democrat Jared Moskowitz is a useless liar who is more interested in wasting taxpayer dollars on photo ops and fake checks than actually delivering for his constituents. This dishonest behavior is exactly why Floridians are fed up with him and will send him packing in November,” NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole said.

Moskowitz, who represents parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties, has drawn repeated criticism from Florida Republicans for what they describe as prioritizing national Democratic priorities over local needs.
