Randy Villegas Silent After Predator Was Rehired, Students Sexually Abused

Socialist Randy Villegas has some explaining to do after a bombshell investigation revealed that Visalia Unified rehired a former employee despite a disturbing history of alleged misconduct.

Villegas and his fellow board members went silent when asked why Visalia Unified rehired DeJaun Jones despite prior allegations that he sent inappropriate messages to students, returning him to campus in a position with direct access to children.

The consequences were horrific: Jones later pleaded guilty to 11 felony counts for sexually abusing two students and was sentenced to five years in state prison.
