📈🚀 Trump Economy Shatters Expectations (Again)

October 1, 2026

The U.S. economy grew 2.2% in the second quarter, well above the 1.5% first reported and a surprise to economists who expected no change.

Dig deeper, and it gets better. While American families continue to recover from the devastation caused by Joe Biden and House Democrats, core growth, which strips out government spending and trade, hit 4.6%, more than double the first quarter. Business investment jumped 9%, and housing investment rose for the first time since 2024.

This is what happens when President Trump and House Republicans put American workers first: cutting taxes, clearing out red tape, and giving businesses the confidence to invest, build, and hire here.

“The experts said it couldn’t be done, but the economy keeps proving them wrong. Republicans cut taxes, got Washington out of the way, and American businesses are investing and building again. Democrats want to raise taxes and kill that momentum. That’s the choice voters face in November.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella
