Ohio’s 9th congressional district is once again being named as a top pickup opportunity for Republicans.

Marcy Kaptur has “failed and failed and failed and failed” Ohioans, voting to increase taxesunder every President since Reagan, rejecting efforts to secure the southern border time and time again, and voting to let men play in girls’ sports, enter girls’ locker rooms, and enter girls’ bathrooms multiple times.

Background:

The new OH-09 district shifted nearly four points towards Republicans.
OH-09 now includes Paulding, Putnam, and Henry Counties, three of the most Republican counties in the state.
Among all members of Congress, none represent a district that favors the opposite party as much as the new OH-09 in terms of presidential margin, with President Trump winning the seat by over 11 points in 2024.
