Brad Ashford Bear Hugs Hillary Clinton

Today, Democrat Brad Ashford, who represents a Republican-leaning district, gave Hillary Clinton the political equivalent of a bear hug by offering her a full-throated endorsement ahead of her Omaha fundraiser later this week. Apparently oblivious to Clinton’s record and current approval ratings, Ashford touted her as “a leader who will bring people together” and “protect our nation from terrorism” despite the overwhelming evidence that she has done the exact opposite.

But Ashford has a history of supporting true-blue liberals. In his first term, Ashford has voted for Nancy Pelosi for speaker TWICE (here and here) and is continuing to support hard-left liberals for his party’s leaders by endorsing Clinton.
