ObamaCare Bad News Train Rolls On, President’s Approval Rating Hits Lowest Ever

October 31, 2013

President Obama may commit himself to not being “in the know” for the rest of his White House’s scandals, but according to a new NBC/WSJ poll, he can’t excuse himself from the ObamaCare debacle.

From NBC:

President Barack Obama’s approval rating has declined to an all-time low as public frustration with Washington and pessimism about the nation’s direction continue to grow, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

Just 42 percent approve of the president’s job performance, which is down five points from earlier this month. By comparison, 51 percent disapprove of his job in office — tied for his all-time high.

It’s not too hard to understand why voters are abandoning President Obama. Tomorrow will mark the one month anniversary of the implementation of the President’s health care law, and there’s no sign that ObamaCare and its empty promises are going to remain anything but just that – empty.

US News reports today that the nation’s top hospitals are opting out of the ObamaCare exchanges, because new regulations under the law require insurance companies to limit consumers choices in order to keep the sticker prices “low.” (Premiums, nevertheless, have been skyrocketing under the law to meet ObamaCare’s mandates.) This means that Americans will be shocked to learn they have less access and fewer options for their healthcare than they did under their old plans.

Colorado’s ObamaCare exchange only enrolled 3,164 in October. If they want to meet their enrollment goals – which are crucial to keeping the ObamaCare balancing act together – they’re far behind schedule. The Vermont exchange, meanwhile, isn’t even operating yet, and other states are desperately looking to reach even just 1,000 paid enrollees.

House Republicans remain committed to keeping the spotlight on ObamaCare, demanding transparency from the Obama Administration on this costly, failed debacle, and stopping the law from killing Americans’ health care plans and skyrocketing their premiums.
