Scott Peters really wants to bring GITMO detainees to America

June 3, 2015

You’d think twice would be enough, but today Scott Peters voted a third time to allow GITMO detainees – more commonly known as terrorists – to be transferred to American soil.

Peters predictably took heat for his earlier votes and tried to mislead about his position when pressed in an interview on KUSI.

With 40,000 military service members in his district, Peters simply can’t be straightforward about his position, especially when many of these men and women in uniform risk their lives to fight these very terrorists’ allies.

Scott Peters has proven that he WANTS to allow terrorists to be transferred onto American soil, even if he has to mislead his constituents about it.

“By voting three times to allow terrorists to be transferred to American soil, Scott Peters has added insult to injury for every one of the 40,000 military service members who live in the 52nd District. Peters would rather play partisan politics than do what’s right for San Diego families.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
