Does Extreme Emily Cain stand with soldiers or with Obama?

October 20, 2015

paycheckNow that President Obama is playing politics by threatening to veto the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), where is Extreme Emily Cain’s outrage?  The NDAA authorizes funding for the Armed Forces, including 851 active soldiers from ME-02 where Extreme Emily is running…again.  It overwhelmingly passed the House by a vote of 270 to 156 and the Senate by a vote of 70 to 27.

Is Extreme Emily so extremely partisan that she won’t stand up to Barack Obama’s veto threat that holds the paychecks of our military men and women hostage?  Some issues are more important than politics, and hopefully Extreme Emily Cain agrees this is one of them.

NRCC Comment:  “Emily Cain needs to publicly call on President Obama to stand down on his veto threat to a bill that has been signed into law for over 50 years in a row.  The last thing our brave soldiers and their families should be worried about is whether or not their Commander in Chief is playing politics with their livelihood.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
