Who doesn’t like who in MI-01?

December 17, 2015

lon johnsonDoes Lon Johnson not like the people in MI-01 (where he is running for Congress despite not living there) or do the people MI-01 not like Lon Johnson?  According to Johnson’s FEC campaign finance reports, only 14 percent of Johnson’s itemized contributions are from within MI-01.  And less than half of all of his itemized contributions are even from within the state of Michigan.

So, which is it?  Does Lonnie not like MI-01, or does MI-01 not like Lonnie?

NRCC Comment:  “It’s not surprising that Lon Johnson has only received 14 percent of his campaign contributions from inside the district where he is running for Congress considering that he doesn’t even live there.  Lon Johnson is nothing more than a calculating partisan hack running for office where he sees fit in an attempt to bring President Obama’s failed agenda to Northern Michigan.” -NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
