Emilio Huerta fundraises everywhere but CA-21

If you’re carpetbagger Emilio Huerta and local Democrats don’t support your Washington insider-backed candidacy in CA-21, what do you do to build inroads in the district? Head on up to San Francisco for a glitzy fundraiser with Nancy Pelosi and Bay Area liberals, of course!

The Bakersfield Californian reported that recently Huerta not only spent some time with Nancy Pelosi and her wealthy friends in San Fran, but also held fundraisers in Phoenix and at the Bakersfield Country Club. What do all these have in common?

Not one of these fundraisers was held in California’s 21^st District. Not one. No wonder local Democrats are lined up solidly behind Daniel Parra.
