Zephyr Teachout is living on a different planet
Zephyr Teachout is a billion dollar super-PAC hypocrite. She said today that people “are totally frustrated with super-PAC billionaires drowning out people’s voices.” What Teachout fails to mention is that she has received $20,900 from the Soros family, which has one of the largest super-PACs in the country. The Soros family is also hosting a fundraiser for Teachout in September.
It’s hard to wrap your mind around Teachout’s stunning level of hypocrisy, which goes far beyond super-PACs. She says she anti-government corruption, but says she was too busy campaign fundraising to answer a question on government corruption. She recently said she doesn’t support BDS, but doesn’t support opposition to BDS. She says she is a voice for farmers, but opposes raising the state estate tax exemption on family farms. And she calls for billions of dollars in higher taxes while having tax evasion issues of her own.
