personal donation for Angie
Madison Anderson | January 31, 2018

Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco cash has officially entered Minnesota politics in 2018. We now know that Pelosi’s campaign personally donated to Angie Craig.

This comes just a week after The Intercept published a story on national Democrats’ favoritism in primaries – based on who can raise the most money, not who best fits the district – and prominently featured Angie Craig as an example. They said: Despite spending $4.8 million, Craig lost by 2 points. That narrow defeat, though, belied the true failure of her campaign. She was, objectively, the least inspiring candidate up and down the ballot…

Pelosi’s donation is a clear indication:

  • Angie Craig will vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House.
  • Angie Craig agrees with Pelosi that $2,000 bonuses for middle-class workers are “crumbs.”
  • San Fran and DC money (and values) will be flooding into Minnesota to try and buy a congressional seat.

This is great news for Jason Lewis, as Nancy Pelosi is the most unpopular political figure in each competitive district across the country.
